DAC, your decision sidekick. We live in a resizable rail on the right side of every page and we carry your scoring data, the framework rubric, and seasoned product practice. Ask us something specific; get something specific back.
DAC
DAC, your decision sidekick. We live in a resizable rail on the right side of every page and carry deep knowledge of modern product practice, your scoring data, and the next-move recommendations that go with it. The two of us, working your decisions together. What we know
DAC is not a generic chatbot. We carry specialized knowledge across three domains.Scoring frameworks
All three frameworks (Team Operations, Development Lifecycle, Product Assessment) with dimension-level detail. What each maturity stage means and how to move between them.
Your data
When you’re on a scored product, we have the full result: dimension scores, cluster analysis, stage placement, and the next-move recommendations.
Practice library
Practice and insight from 13 leading product thinkers across discovery, PLG, DevOps, pricing, and operations.
Knowledge domains
We draw on established practice and frameworks across:Product strategy and discovery
Product strategy and discovery
Continuous discovery, opportunity framing, assumption testing, empowered team models, outcome-driven development.
Product operations and craft
Product operations and craft
Team health signals, making work visible, operational excellence patterns, high-leverage prioritization frameworks.
Growth and monetization
Growth and monetization
Product-led growth strategy, self-serve funnels, usage-based pricing, growth loops, PLG-to-sales handoff patterns.
Engineering and platform
Engineering and platform
DevOps metrics (deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate), engineering velocity, infrastructure economics.
How to work with us
Context-aware conversations
We adjust based on where you are in the app.| Page | What we focus on |
|---|---|
| Score results | Full scoring data, dimension analysis, next moves |
| Dashboard | Cross-product patterns, portfolio trajectory |
| Operations report | Team workflow maturity, function-level coaching |
| Lifecycle report | Build process read, stage progression |
| Sources | Adapter health, signal coverage |
| Any other page | General product ops guidance, framework knowledge |
Conversation starters
- On a scored product
- On general pages
- “What should I move on first?”
- “Explain my biggest gap.”
- “How do I reach the next stage?”
- “Build me a 90-day roadmap.”
- “How do I move data flywheel from 2 to 3?”
Resizable rail
The rail can be resized by dragging the left edge. Drag left to expand (up to 600px) for longer conversations, or right to collapse (down to 280px) to focus on the main content. Close us with the X button; reopen us with the floating Ask ✦ DAC button.Financial attribution
Every coaching recommendation carries a dollar estimate of the potential impact. When we suggest moving a dimension, we show the projected annual capacity recovery based on your team size and the dimension’s recovery factor. Example: “Moving process iteration from 2 to 3 could recover ~$180K/year in developer capacity (eliminated process bottlenecks).” The estimates run on a heuristic model: team size, average fully-loaded cost, and industry benchmarks for how each dimension lift translates to recovered developer-weeks.Evidence citations
Coaching observations come with traceable evidence. When your account has connected adapters, observations carry citations linking to the source artifacts.- GitHub PR URLs for delivery velocity observations
- Linear issue links for process and cycle time observations
- Deployment URLs for shipping frequency signals
Teach DAC
Beyond simple thumbs up / thumbs down, we support structured feedback so you can shape how we coach you next time.| Reaction | What it tells us |
|---|---|
| Helpful | Recommendation was accurate and actionable |
| Already doing this | Correct read, but team has already addressed it |
| Wrong diagnosis | The underlying problem identified is wrong |
| Wrong priority | Correct read, but the urgency is off |
| Not actionable | Too vague or generic to act on |
| Implemented differently | You took a different path to the same outcome |
Tips for sharper responses
Be specific about what you want to move
Be specific about what you want to move
Instead of “how do I improve?”, try “how do I move data flywheel from 2 to 3?” We get sharper with specific context.
Ask for frameworks and models
Ask for frameworks and models
We can apply specific frameworks: “what does continuous discovery look like at our stage?” or “how does our score map to the Product Operating Model?”
Request structured plans
Request structured plans
We can build structured plans: “give me a 90-day roadmap to move from Building to Scaling” or “what are the top 3 moves my team should make this cycle?”
Compare and benchmark
Compare and benchmark
Ask us to contextualize your scores: “is a score of 27 good for a Series B company?” or “how does my operations maturity read against my product maturity?”
Our recommendations are model-generated. Verify before making critical calls.
